Lanser’s on Main is a restaurant in Bryanston, serving delicious home-styled French and Italian food with an ambience to match. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters, mains and desserts that will appeal to all food lovers. My partner and I  recently popped in for lunch and we were treated to a fantastic time.

For starters I had the tomato bisque with fried cheese  a  perfect update to the classic grilled cheese and tomato soup  and my partner had the scrumptious salmon fish cakes in a divine vinaigrette  mustard sauce.  Both dishes were exquisite and a great start to the afternoon.

For mains we kept it simple, my partner tried the T- Bone steak – served medium rare with chips and vegetables and I had the Mona Lisa Pizza which has tomato, mozzarella, chicken, prego sauce, caramelised onion and avo. Both meals were once again pure perfection and flavourful. Everything we ate was fresh, delicious and simply delightful. The restaurant also offers a wonderful wine menu. The wines are slightly pricey but worth sampling.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious ,the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are warm and thoughtful. For starters, mains and a drink you can look at spending around R550- R600 for two. Pricey but well worth it.
