Make A Difference Leadership Foundation

So last night I was blessed enough to be able to attend the Make A
Difference Leadership Foundation
new name unveiling and I must say it was the most enlightening and inspiring night of my year so far. The MAD foundation celebrates it’s 10th year of making a difference in South Africa. The foundation works on creating life changing opportunities for academically talented young South Africans who come from a less privileged background. I was very happy to be able to join Francois Pienaar and friends last night in this great initiative because the leaders of tomorrow need our leadership today.

During the unveiling I was able to chat to a few MAD members and hearing their stories has inspired me to want to give more to uplifting our future leaders. I also had the opportunity to chat to the bright young and talented Awonke (click on his name to see his profile) whose story will not only touch millions of lives but will encourage more people to become do tanks instead of just think tanks. ONe of the quotes from last night that stuck with me was “What if the cure for cancer is stuck in the mind of someone who cant not afford an education?” So join in on this great MAD Leadership initiative and lets build some of the greatest leaders our country will ever see. I can go on and on about the greatness that was last night but I would like you all to take the time out of your day to visit the MAD website and get clued up on how you can be part of the change.

Here are some pictures from last night:

Breathtaking view of Table Mountain and Lions Head from the amazing FNB building which was the perfect venue for the event.
