A modern neighbourhood-inspired coffee shop on the corner of 7th and 4th avenue in Linden, The Whippet has a beautifully relaxing flair to everything, from the menu to the staff themselves.
The menu at The Whippet always reflects seasonality and you can always expect the highest quality ingredients available. In general, expect options like poached eggs on avocado toast, delicious fluffy buttery croissants, French toast, and homemade breads.
For our brunch date we tried out these two delicious dishes that were flavourful and well worth returning for:
CRISPY BACON CROISSANT: Fluffy free-range scrambled egg and crispy bacon in a toasted butter croissant.
SMASHED AVO WAKE UP: Zesty smashed avo, bright pickled red onion and two buttery soft poached eggs on our seeded toast. Garnished with red chilli flakes, black sesame seeds, pink peppercorns and fresh micro herbs.
For coffee lovers, The Whippet team source only the best beans, roasted by an all-female roasting team and then blended and made with passion and love by competition-ready baristas.
