So we finally hosted our first ever Bloggers Sunday Lunch yesterday at the beautiful Kloofzict Lodge & Spa in Muldersdrift. Let me just start off by saying WOWZER what a beautiful place and all that beauty and tranquility was matched with incredible service throughout our stay! It’s the perfect weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and the beauty of it all is that it’s just 20-30 minutes away. Kloofzicht is one of those special destinations, it’s tranquility makes it perfect for a family weekend getaway. There’s is just so much awesomeness to share about this venue that I will break it into three sections, The accommodation, the Food and the service. Starting with:

The accommodation – The rooms are absolutely marvelous, clean, fresh and very spacious. As you step out of the rooms you are greeted by the beautiful views Zwartkops Mountains and endless stretches of water dams. You can look at spending anything from R1200 -R1800 per person sharing per night which I find super reasonable considering how awesome the place is.

The food – So we all enjoyed the 3 course Sunday Lunch buffet which consisted of some of the most delicious food options I have encountered at a hotel in the longest time. The food was cooked to perfection, the clear winners of the day were the Creamed Spinach my goodness it was on another level, the lamb and the grilled fish which had everyone going back for seconds. Yesterday’s lunch buffet was absolutely divine a little something for everyone.

The service – I would like to start off by giving a super massive THANK YOU to Bradley, Jimmy & Lucky you guys were the real MVP’s yesterday. From the moment we arrived to when we left you gave us the best quality service. Friendly, efficient and accommodating. We weren’t the easiest bunch to deal with yesterday with all our demands from phone chargers to making you knock off late because we enjoyed your service so much LOL. You guys are what we call the DREAM TEAM and that is why we will be back soon!
