Seafood lovers, this one’s for you! 🦞🦪🍸

A little dinner date at the newly opened @tightline_jozi , Sandton Gate, turned into a proper feast!

Fresh oysters, crispy squid heads, buttery grilled calamari, kingklip, seafood pasta and a lasagna that had us questioning whether we came for seafood or Italian food! 😂🤌🏽

Every plate was a solid 9/10, the cocktails were refreshing, and the hospitality? Absolutely outstanding! Special mention to Gustav for making the evening extra memorable.

Save this for your next Joburg dinner date! 📍

Weekend eating in Linden and this one deserves a spot on your list. 🍕🥩

We tried @picola_linden and everything hit the spot. The Arrabbiata pizza was packed with flavour, the bacon, avo and feta pizza was seriously good, but the lamb chops were the star of the show. Beautifully grilled, juicy and absolutely delicious.

Add friendly staff, welcoming regulars and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for watching the rugby, and you’ve got a proper neighbourhood gem.

I’m definitely going back for those lamb chops.

Some places serve great food. Others make you feel like family. ❤️

Waiting for George in Linden does both.

We stopped by for Souvla Sunday and were blown away by the warm hospitality, incredible grilled meats and some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while. The lamb chops were a standout, the pork was beautifully tender, the chicken was packed with flavour, and everything came together perfectly with crispy potatoes and a fresh Greek salad.

One of my favourite things? There isn’t an official story behind the name Waiting for George. They want guests to create their own meaning, and I shared mine in the full review.

⭐ 9/10 – We’ll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu!

Breakfast @lemanoir_za and @chef_kenphuduhudu definitely made sure we weren’t leaving hungry. 🍳

A proper breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado and toast. Simple, hearty and VERY filling. Safe to say lunch might have to wait. 😅

A good morning to end our little Joburg staycation. ✨

Dinner at Restaurant 197 was a pretty good way to start our stay at @lemanoir_za . 🍷

We got to try a few of @chef_kenphuduhudu signature dishes, starting with a Tuna Amuse Bouche, followed by a delicious Chicken Roulade, a perfectly cooked Beef Fillet, and finishing things off with a rich Chocolate Volcano that had the best gooey centre for some. 8.5/10🤤

If you’re looking for a spot for a special dinner in Joburg, this one is definitely worth checking out, the best part for us? No need to drive home because our room was just a few steps away. 😂 Now that’s my kind of staycation.

Just checked into @lemanoir_za in Northcliff for a little Joburg staycation and first impressions… 😍 This place feels like you’ve escaped the city without actually leaving it.

Think French-inspired charm, beautiful gardens, cosy hidden corners, gorgeous suites and Restaurant 197 right on your doorstep. 🇫🇷🥂 If you’re looking for a romantic escape, a foodie weekend or simply an excuse to switch off for a night, this might be one to add to the list.

Now to explore, eat and pretend I’m somewhere in the French countryside. 😂

🇱🇧 A Lebanese feast done right! From creamy hummus and smoky baba ganoush to crispy sambousek, fresh salads, and a mixed grill loaded with juicy chicken, tender lamb, kofta, and perfectly seasoned meats, every dish was packed with authentic flavour.

The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and it was the kind of meal that’s made for sharing.

@liban.cafe earns a well-deserved 9/10 for delivering a delicious Lebanese dining experience.

If you could only pick one, what’s your favourite Lebanese dish? 👇
