I cannot say enough good about Abbaqua Guest House. I am totally enjoying my stay here at the moment. This little gem is just 2km away from George Airport and is surrounded by lots of greenery and mountains (can you say gorgeius views 🙂 ) . The guest house kind of reminds me of a playhouse, with the pink wooden structure of it, it really screamed classic playhouse that will bring back any childhood memories.

My friend and I booked out the family unit for the weekend which has, 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, outdoor terrace and a double sleeper couch. All in all the unit could take up to 6 guests which makes it perfect for family getaways. Since the guest house is self catering this unit was perfect for our little escape. Besides the comfortable living space what made our stay even more special were the super welcoming and friendly guest house owners. Not only did they give us a guide of what to get up to in George they also made sure we have easy access to them at all times. But wait there is more, the best part about this place is the price for our 3 night stay before we continue our travels to Knysna, we spent a whopping R2400 which is crazy considering how big the space we are staying in is. But wait again there is more awesomeness to it all booking go to charity so you can come relax and renew while helping the disadvantaged. WOOOOOOOOOOOW This place who are these people??? AMAZING!!!!

The Rooms: Very spacious, clean, have DStv Access and the vintage sea breeze decor will make you feel super relaxed and comfortable.

The Views: lots of green, lots of farm land so expect to see loads of cows and sheep. When it’s not cloudy you also get gorgeous mountain views.
