Neighbourgoods Market Adventures

As most of you know I am not a big fan of big crowds but when it comes to the Neighbourgoods Market in Braamfontein, I can never say no to delicious food, live music and Cool Kid Hipster watching all day. This trendy food and lifestyle market is the perfect go to on a Saturday afternoon for a few cocktails and major perv sessions with friends (there are always really gorgeous looking people at the market). You will find great entertainment all around the market warehouse or is it a parking lot, to keep you busy for a good couple of hours. The food stalls offer some of the best Seafood Paella and Red Velvet Cake I have ever had and lots of other amazing gourmet options.

The market does get super packed so make sure to head there early on Saturdays if you are looking to find a place to actually sit and relax. If you don’t make it in time for a table, then you can always spend your time walking around tasting wine, champagne or doing some vintage shopping. The food and drinks aren’t expensive but they aren’t cheap either so do take a little bit of extra cash with you. I always end up buying unnecessary things (there are always just so many things staring at you that you end up purchasing something you don’t need) so the extra cash does come in handy.

I don’t really have much to say about the place, like most markets it’s trendy, hip, has amazing stalls and without a doubt will keep you entertained. I only go to farmers markets once in a blue moon because I don’t like crowded places but Neighbourgoods is definitely one of the favourites.

I think I’m having one of those lazy writing days so I will just let you guys enjoy the pictures :

  1. Looks amazing!
Thinking of good old Sourh Africa and having a braai tonight with steak, braai broodjies, salad and A bottle of Bordeaux. Nice combination.
