To continue on our meat free journey. Today’s recipe is a perfect one for an afternoon tea time snack. These Savoury Cheese & Bacon Flavour Scones are not only delicious but they are full of flavour and easy to make. ENJOY 🙂
Prep Time: 25 minutes – Bake time – 20 minutes – Serves 3 (makes 6 scones)
2 cups cake flour, sifted
½ tsp salt
Knorr Cheese & Bacon Potato Bake
4 tsp baking powder
150g Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp butter
¾ cup milk
Grated cheese and cream cheese dressing to serve
Preheat oven to 240°C.
Mix the flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add the cheese, butter, Knorr Cheese & Bacon Potato Bake and milk.
Place dough on a lightly floured surface. Knead gently until smooth.
Pat dough flat and cut into 6 rounds.
Place scones on a prepared baking tray and sprinkle tops with a little plain flour.
Bake at 240°C for about 10 minutes.
Serve warm with butter, grated cheese and cream cheese dressing.
