As most of you would have already seen on the blogs social media accounts, I spent the last couple of days on holiday in Thailand and stayed at the wonderful Deevana Patong Resort & Spa located in the center of all the action in Phuket’s most popular destination – Patong. Though the resort is 3 star it certainly gives you a 5 star quality service and everything about it certainly does not even reflect a 3 star accommodation it is way better than that.

The Rooms: Are spacious and clean, the beds are super comfortable and the room finishes are fresh with a touch of classic Thai decorations. The en‐suite bathroom is complete with a shower and closet. The rooms also come with complementary tea and coffee and 2 fresh bottles of water daily. I stayed in the Superior Garden Room which has a beautiful patio area overlooking the lush green gardens and tall palm trees.

The Pool Area: This was by far my favourite part of the hotel by far. My friend says I only loved it so much because there was a bar in the pool lol and happy hour lasted for most of the day, . Despite what my friend thinks the pool area was really something to marvel over, warm waters, great Thai elephant fountains that added that bit of pizazz, it was just the perfect relaxation stop when the Thai heat was a little too much to handle.

The Service: Everyone in Thailand and I mean everyone is super friendly which makes your vacation there even more wonderful. The staff at Deevana were always willing to help and made sure we were always comfortable. They also make some awesome suggestions so make sure to ask them about all the hot spots to visit and cheapest tours while you are there.

Reasons to Stay Here: The hotel is right in the heart of the Patong Magic. It’s a 3-minute walk away from Patong Beach and a mere 10 minute walk from the infamous Bangla Road. You don’t even feel the walks because of the vibrant street market which is very easy to get lost in. The market is full of amazing items which are great for gifts and souvenirs. You will also find some of the best restaurants just up the road from the hotel to suite every pallet and of course lots and lots of delicious Thai street food vendors.

Deevana is a great hotel and the perfect place to stay if you are thinking of visiting Thailand anytime soon. For those of you wondering yes, they have free wi-fi, there’s free wi-fi literally everywhere in Patong so don’t worry you will always be connected.
